The Made in France Yoga Lifestyle brand of Yoga Laty was created in 2010 by Yetta Lee, stylist, in Paris. She is now based in Paris and offers a timeless and urban style for those who are active, cool and authentic. Laty is committed to using only high quality materials for ethical and environmentally friendly products. Easy to wear pieces between urbanwear and activewear, chic and comfortable.

Our vision is to create mindfully designed timeless products integrating humanity, innovation & sustainability & technology. Easy to wear/carry pieces transgressing boundaries between chic and comfortable urbanwear and activewear.

 

The name LATY is the acronym of four powerful words which are the core values of the brand :
love, awakening, thankfulness, yearning* which are our values ​​and our codes.

As a Lifestyle Brand, our mission is to place the fundamental values we are attached to at the center of the LATY experience: the commitment to using high quality materials for (as much as possible) environmentally friendly and ethically produced items. Also, combining craftsmanship and know-how to design and functionality to comfort.

 

We strive to continuously evolve as a brand with a sense of consciousness. We aim to cater to the increasingly astute taste of the modern-day consumer while balancing the well-being of humanity with the need to respect the finite resources of mother nature.

Laty World Origins

Yetta Lee founded LATY after several years of working experience in Fashion. Yetta was born in South Korea and grew up in Mexico. She followed Fashion studies in Seoul (Yonsei) and Paris (ESMOD & IFM) where she decides to live; she integrates prestigious houses Yves Saint Laurent and Chloé.

 

After nearly 12 years of being in-house she decides to leave to pursue her dream. As a result of her multiculturalism and her experience, Yetta creates LATY with a vision in mind: to create mindfully designed timeless products that are multifunctional, versatile and cool.

 

Voyage and travel are deeply anchored in Yetta’s journey.
Photography came as a natural element with the trips and thus it became one of Yetta’s passions.
A new voyage, this time internal,took place in the mid-2000’s:“I started practicing ashtanga yoga in 2006 while I was working at a prestigious French Fashion house. I perfectly remember the first class where I was lost and sweaty! I managed to go through it all by looking at my neighbors doing the asanas. At the end, Savasana (lying posture – taking rest) came; I got mixed feelings of tiredness, exhaustion with peace and tranquility. Then the most impactful, an instant of bliss : I knew yoga was my path from that moment on!

Our vision is to create timeless pieces with love, integrating design, sustainability and humanity.

One of the essential characteristics of human beings is to create and evolve, there has always been and will always be the need to create. In this rapidly changing era, many more of us are awakening and wondering about the purpose of our existence. We are in search of more meaningful lives and thus searching for careers, relationships etc that feed our souls.

 

With that in mind I quit my corporate job in Fashion and decided to embark on this new adventure: a Lifestyle brand that combines traveling, photography, yoga (and other “well-being” activities) and fashion for urban people whose lifestyle and philosophy are anchored in the universal principles of love and respect.

 

With Laty, I hope to be present and to be part of the world by contributing to it even in a small way. As a company and brand, if we can inspire or help or empower others, it would be a great achievement.
